Yummy Bulla
Yummy Bakery is a well-known Jamaican brand that has been baking breads, buns and bulla for decades. Their products are part of everyday life, from school snacks to quick breakfasts and late-night tea. Yummy Bulla is one of their classics: a soft, sweet, spiced bulla that people love to eat with cheese, butter or pear. This project focused on refreshing the packaging for the Yummy Bulla range while keeping the brand that Jamaicans already recognise and trust.

The Challenge
Yummy Bulla is loved, but its packaging was starting to fall behind the look of modern supermarket shelves. It did not stand out firmly in a crowded snack aisle, and the different flavours were sometimes hard to tell apart at a glance. The front of the pack felt busy, with many elements competing for attention. The main challenge was to update and tidy the look without losing the familiar “Yummy” personality that shoppers already feel connected to.
Solution
We simplified the pack to match how people actually shop, with a crisper Yummy logo, a stronger flavour block, and a front that sticks to the basics: brand, flavour, product name and weight. The same visual system was then rolled out to billboards and van and truck wraps, so Yummy Bulla looks unified and easy to recognise wherever people see it.
